Our food and drink
At HOME we are passionate about our food and wherever possible we work with local suppliers.
Our tasty mature cheddar comes from The Cheese Hamlet, our bread and some of our cakes come fresh from Hills’ bakery’s ovens, our greens come from local supplier Produce Partners and our milk comes from Hopewall Farm.
All our food is vegetarian and we often offer vegan, gluten and dairy free options. The soup of the day is always prepared with fresh ingredients and lovingly made by our valued volunteers.
We have a wide selection of hot and cold beverages. Our coffee is fair trade and decaffeinated is available. We also offer a large selection of loose leaf teas, including various decaffeinated choices. As well as traditional milk, we also have soya or almond alternatives.
Our show stopping cakes are baked by Jo at Urban Bakers, and our amazing shift leaders Rachel and Marieke, who spoil us with a different range of cakes every week.
For our younger visitors, we offer a Little Homies selection: a choice of various healthy goodies.
Our cake counter has set tongues wagging and tummies rumbling. We’ll just say this – Salted Caramel Chocolate Fudge Cake, Lemon and Lavender Sponge, Pistachio and Rosewater Almond Slice. Sing alleluia.
